Allen Park, MI : Driver with flat tire hit by vehicle, dies in the Detroit area on Sunday night, November 9, 2014

Police say the driver of an SUV with a flat tire has died after being hit by a vehicle while trying to cross Interstate 94 in the Detroit area. State police say the crash happened on Sunday night near the exit for Oakwood Boulevard in Allen Park. Police say the 26-year-old Detroit man was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a vehicle driven by a 66-year-old woman from Dearborn Heights. Police say the woman and her passenger weren't injured. The name of the man who died wasn't immediately release, pending notification of family. Police are investigating.
