A 1-year-old girl died after a truck and a car collided in Spring Wednesday night. The Harris County Sheriff's Office said the two vehicles crashed into each other at FM 1960 and Walters Road around 8:15 p.m. Life Flight said the girl was brought to Memorial Hermann Texas Trauma Institute in critical condition. According to deputies, the infant was not in a car seat and instead was being held by one of her parents when the crash happened. Officers took the mother away from the scene to break the news to her. They said they were worried about her for several reasons including because she was visibly pregnant.
