Joplin, MO : A Webb City teen was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday, 1st April 2018

A Webb City teen was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:44 p.m. Sunday on Missouri Highway 249, a mile east of Joplin, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Kalee R. Pope, 17, was taken to Mercy Hospital Joplin with moderate injuries.

She was driving a northbound pickup truck that slid into a guardrail on the ice-covered roadway and overturned, the patrol said.
