ASH TOWNSHIP, MI : A man was confirmed killed in a multiple vehicle accident on Tuesday, July 25, 2017

A man was confirmed killed in a multiple vehicle accident this morning at Grafton and Labo Rds. in Ash Township, police said. The victim was described as an older male. The Michigan State Police reported a woman and child also were injured, but they were expected to survive. Both were transported to an area hospital. Police said the early investigation showed that a car driven by a woman entered the intersection in front of a pickup truck and the two vehicles collided. The pickup then crashed into a dump truck that was stopped at the intersection. Further details will be made available later. The accident occurred around 10 a.m. The Ash Township Volunteer Fire Department and Monroe Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.
