Orange County, FL : One person injured after a crash on State Road 520, north of Maxim Parkway on Friday, November 25, 2016

One person was airlifted after a crash Friday, Orange County Fire Rescue personnel said.

The crash happened on State Road 520, north of Maxim Parkway.

The Florida Highway Patrol said vehicles traveling north on S.R. 520 began slowing for traffic to merge on to Highway 50.

A motorcycle didn't slow down in time and rear-ended a vehicle. Troopers said another motorcycle struck that one.

OCFR said one person was flown as a trauma alert to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The northbound lanes of S.R. 520 were expected to reopen Friday night.
