Memphis, TN : Two people hospitalized after head-on crash on Saturday October 29th 2016

A head-on collision sent two people to the hospital Saturday afternoon. The crash happened around 2:45pm on Vidalia Rd. It was so serious, the roadway had to be closed for a short while.

A medical helicopter flew one of the drivers to the trauma center at USA Medical Center in Mobile. AMR took the other driver to a local hospital. There's no word on their conditions.

Fire units from the Harrison County Fire Service, West Harrison Fire and Pass Christian Fire Department were all on scene to help extricate one of the drivers from their vehicle.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating what caused the accident.
