Des Moines woman killed in I-35 motorcycle wreck

A Des Moines woman was killed and a man was injured Saturday night in a motorcycle crash on Interstate Highway 35.The passenger, Laura Faux, 62, died at the scene. The driver, Everett Faux, 62, also of Des Moines, was injured and transported to Mercy Medical Center by helicopter.According to an Iowa State Patrol report, Everett Faux lost control of the bike, causing it to overturn and skid down the interstate.The accident happened around 9:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes about two miles south of Cumming.
