Monett, MO : Seligman family injured in pickup crash near Powell on Wednesday, March 8, 2017
Two people from Seligman were injured in a single vehicle crash near Powell on Wednesday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Clarence Gundel, 28, was driving south on Route E at 8:45 a.m., five miles south of Powell in McDonald County. Gundel lost control of his 2006 GMC Sierra on a curve. He over-corrected the truck, which subsequently ran off the left side of the roadway, then struck a tree.
Gundel was not hurt, while his two passengers were. Katie Gundel, 28, received moderate injuries. Mitchell Gundel, 2, received minor injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to the Northwest Regional Hospital in Bentonville, Ark., for treatment. All the Gundels were wearing safety devices.
The pickup was totaled, the Patrol reported
