New Castle ,DE : Serious crash between car, tow truck in New Castle leads to death of driver on Saturday ,July 18th 2015

A crash between a car and a tow truck last week in New Castle has led to a death.

Delaware State Police said Saturday that the driver of the car involved in the crash July 18 has died. The driver was identified as 42-year-old Rodolfo Espinal-Vargas of New Castle. He died on Wednesday.

Police say an investigation is ongoing in the crash. Police say it appears the crash occurred when the car Espinal-Vargas was driving rear-ended the tow truck that was stopped ahead of him.

Police say Espinal-Vargas was not wearing a seat belt.
