WHITE COUNTY, AR : 3-vehicle crash killed man, injured 3 others on Monday, 12th September 2016

A White County man died in a 3-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.

In a crash report, Arkansas State Police said 2 cars were heading west on State Highway 36 in White County.

At around 1 p.m., the car driven by Dois Owen, 69, of Rose Bud crossed the center line and struck an oncoming car head-on.

The oncoming car then hit the other vehicle heading west.

The crash killed Owen and injured Larry Barker, 70, of Searcy, Opal Barker, 69, of Searcy and Donna Matlock, 52, of Mt. Vernon.

They were taken to the White County Medical Center to be treated.
