Monett, MO : Wentworth woman injured in wreck Sunday afternoon on Sunday, 6th November 2016
A Wentworth woman was injured Sunday in a wreck at 1:06 p.m. at the intersection of Farm Road 1010 and Farm Road 2150, four miles east of Sarcoxie.
According to a Missouri State Highway patrol report, Rose Helzer, 64, of Wentworth, was driving a 1996 Lincoln Towncar westbound and attempted to cross Farm Road 1010 and pulled into the path of a northbound 1993 Chevrolet Silverado, being driven by Evan McDunner, 19, of Pierce City.
Helzer suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin. McDunner was uninjured.
McDunner was wearing a safety device and Helzer was not. The Lincoln suffered extensive damage, and the Chevrolet suffered moderate damage.
