Gig Harbor,WA : Woman killed in Fife wreck. Stolen car involved in collision on June, Thursday 29th 2017

7:15 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and other charges in connection with the fatal crash Thursday in Fife. The suspect is currently in Pierce County Jail.

ORIGINAL STORY: A woman was killed Thursday morning in Fife in a collision that involved a stolen car, Fife Police Assistant Chief Dave Woods said.

Puyallup Tribal police were responding to reports of a stolen vehicle when the car fled and the collision occurred at the intersection of Alexander Avenue and Pacific Highway in Fife.

Traffic was blocked on both roads as the accident was investigated. Pacific Highway was not reopened until after 4 p.m.
