Clermont County, OH : 36-year-old Union Township man killed in a head-on crash on Ohio 32 in Batavia Township on Thursday, March 24, 2016

A 36-year-old Union Township man was killed Thursday when he drove his car across the center median and struck another car head-on, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Frank Shockley III was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened shortly after 9 a.m. on Ohio 32 in Batavia Township. Shockley was not wearing a seat belt, police said.

The driver of the second car, 27-year-old Katelyn Horn of Erlanger, was airlifted to University of Cincinnati Medical Center to be treated for her injuries, police said.

It is not known if alcohol or drugs were a factor. The crash remains under investigation.
