MACCLENNY, FL : 16-year-old injured in Baker County crash on Monday, December 26th 2016

A 16-year-old girl was seriously injured Monday afternoon in a crash on State Road 121 in Baker County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Danielle Dean was a passenger in a Chevrolet Cruze driven by 18-year-old Joshua Gill.

According to troopers, Gill, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, was headed north on S.R. 121 and turned left on County Road 23A into the path of an oncoming Ford F-150.

The truck hit the right side of the car, sending the car spinning onto private property where it hit a “for sale” real estate sign, troopers said.

The truck continued south and hit a pedestrian crosswalk signal. The driver and passenger in the truck were not injured, troopers said.

Charges are pending.
