Anaheim, CA : 10-year-old boy killed and several others injured in a crash in Anaheim on Saturday night, October 18, 2014

A 10-year-old boy was killed and four family members injured when a man police say was driving under the influence rear-ended their car at an Anaheim intersection. Two people in a third vehicle were hurt. Police Lt. Bob Dunn says the accident occurred shortly before midnight Saturday. He says a family of five was in a car stopped for a red light when their vehicle was hit by a pickup truck. The truck's driver, 41-year-old Gary Stephen Hunt of Orange, was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence. 10-year-old Rafael Ramirez was pronounced dead at a hospital. Two children and two adults in the car with him were hospitalized in serious condition. Dunn says the crash caused both vehicles to strike another car, injuring its occupants. One was hospitalized.
