APOPKA, FL : Hit-and-run crash reported in Apopka near Hawthorne Avenue and 4th Street on Friday, 20th July 2018

A hit-and-run crash is under investigation in Apopka.

Authorities said it happened near Hawthorne Avenue and 4th Street.Two cars were involved. One driver told WESH 2 News a man ran a stop sign and both his vehicle and the suspect vehicle spun out.

The alleged hit-and-run driver nearly struck a home, officials said. That driver then fled the scene.
