Pine Bluff, AR : Grady man killed in a one-vehicle accident in Lincoln County on Thursday, December 29, 2016

A Grady man was killed in a one-vehicle accident Thursday in Lincoln County.

According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, Samuel Lee Hegwood, 58, was northbound on Arkansas Highway 11 when the 2004 Ford F-150 pickup he was driving left the roadway and struck a church building at 3 p.m.

Trooper Taylor W. Woods reported that the weather was clear and the roadway dry at the time of the accident.

The death was the 541st reported so far this year on the state's highways.
