TULSA, OK : 60-year-old man hit by car, killed while riding e-bike on Sunday, 29th September 2024

The Tulsa Police Department said a 60-year-old man is dead after he was hit and killed by a car while riding an e-bike Sunday night in downtown Tulsa.

Police say Officers responded to West 1st Street and South Denver Avenue at 10:05 p.m.

Police say the man rode the e-bike northbound on South Denver Avenue and entered the intersection during a red light. Another vehicle was driving westbound on West 1st Street and entered the intersection during a green light.

The man was by the vehicle in the intersection.

The man was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
