Terre Haute, IN : A man died after crashing a motorcycle in the area of 13th Street on April, Thursday 13th 2017

A man died after crashing a motorcycle in the area of 13th Street and Erie Canal Road about 8 p.m. Thursday.

Terry W. McCollough, 57, was riding a motorcycle south on 13th Street when he moved into the right lane to pass a car in the left lane, police report. McCollough did not clear the car before moving back into the left lane. His motorcycle struck the car and he lost control of the motorcycle, which went into oncoming traffic. McCollough struck a northbound vehicle head-on, and sustained serious injuries.

Police report McCollough later died due to his injuries.

No charges will be filed, police report.
