Huntingdon,PA : Charges filed in fatal crash on November, Monday 20th 2017
A Huntingdon man faces vehicular homicide and other charges related to an accident that occurred Aug. 19, Huntingdon County District Attorney David Smith said in a statement.
According to the news release, Pennsylvania State Police have concluded their investigation into the Henderson Township crash that claimed the life of Reuben Yoder, 18, of Allensville, and injured two others. According to the release, police have charged Madison Thompson, 19, of Huntingdon, with offenses including homicide by motor vehicle, homicide by motor vehicle while driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated assault, aggravated assault by motor vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, underage drinking and cruelty to animals.
The district attorney noted in the release that Thompson’s blood alcohol concentration at the time of the crash was .182 percent, which is nine times the legal limit for people under the age of 21. Smith noted the work of police in the investigation.
