Beckley,WV : Noon accident slows I-77 traffic near Mabscott on may, Friday 2nd 2017

A roll-over of a camper and vehicle near Mabscott held up lunchtime traffic on the West Virginia Turnpike Friday, but no one was injured, West Virginia State Police reported.

Authorities said that traffic was closed on the southbound lane of I-77 near Mabscott after a local man's full-sized camper began to fishtail and cause his vehicle to swerve.

The man was unable to regain control of the vehicle, and the vehicle and camper, which he was pulling via his vehicle, overturned around 12:11 p.m. There were no passengers, and the driver was not injured, officials said.

State police and other agencies had cleared the accident by 1:10 p.m.
