CHEROKEE COUNTY, TEXAS : Two people were killed in a one-vehicle rollover in Cherokee County on Sunday, 17th June 2018

Our media partners at KLTV are reporting that two people were killed in a one-vehicle rollover in Cherokee County Sunday morning.

According to officials with the Texas Highway Patrol, around 6 a.m. Sunday troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market Road 235 east of New Summerfield.

Preliminary reports show the driver of a Yukon was traveling west on FM 235 at an unsafe speed into a curve in the road when the vehicle left the road slightly to the north. The vehicle then over corrected back across the roadway and rolled several times, according to officials.
