The Husky Highway was shut down for a portion of the day Wednesday following a crash.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, two people suffered minor injuries when a Jeep Compass struck a tractor-trailer around 11:45 a.m. between Farmington and Katy. The Jeep, which was traveling southbound, crossed the center line, and struck the tractor-trailer, which was traveling northbound.
The tractor-trailer crossed the center line, after it was struck, went into the opposite lane of travel, went off the road and struck an abandoned building, where it came to rest.
