ORANGETOWN, NY : 25 vehicles involved in Cuomo Tappan Zee bridge crash on February, Wednesday 7th 2018

A crash involving 25 vehicles Wednesday morning delayed traffic on I-87 Northbound at the Mario M. Cuomo Tappan Zee Bridge.

State Police said that the chain reaction crash started on the northbound side, then pushed through the jersey barrier into the left lane of the southbound side, leading to more crashes.

Four people were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

All lanes but one northbound left lane and one southbound left lane are open.
