Lancaster County ,SC : One person killed after Dump truck crashed along Rainbow Ranch Road on Friday morning ,June 5th 2015

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a wreck involving a dump truck killed one person in Lancaster.

Troopers say the crash happened around 9:27 a.m. Friday morning along Rainbow Ranch Road and Overbrook Road.

Officials said one person, later identified as 42-year-old Ryan Milton Patterson, was killed in the crash.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Officer say the wreck was a single-vehicle accident that involved a dump truck, but did not release any more details.

Deputies remained on scene to help with traffic until the roadway was cleared.
