Los Angeles, CA : One man killed and five other injured in four-car crash on Saturday October 17 2015

Police say alcohol or drugs may be factors in a four-car crash in the Los Angeles area that left one man dead and five others hospitalized.The crash happened in San Pedro around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. P. Ybarra tells City News Service that a car was making a left-hand turn on a street when another car coming from the opposite direction slammed into its side.
A man in his 40s in the car that was hit was killed instantly. A man and a woman were critically injured, and three others suffered less serious injuries but are hospitalized.
Police say they're investigating whether both drivers in the crash were under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
