TERRY, MS : Man hit by car on I-55 in apparent hit-and-run on Monday, 7th October 2024

A man was hit on the interstate in an apparent hit-and-run Monday evening.

Terry Police Chief Anthony Moore tells 3 On Your Side they received the call around 7:40 p.m.

The white male was in his mid 30s and was found on the side of the interstate with severe injuries.

The unidentified man was airlifted to UMMC in Jackson in critical condition.
