Loris, SC : School bus involved in collision near Loris High School on Monday afternoon, March 20, 2017

A traffic crash involving a Horry County school bus happened Monday afternoon near Loris High School.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins, the collision happened on Loris Lions Road. He said there was “stop-and-go traffic” on the road and a Chrysler vehicle struck the rear of the bus.

Three children on the bus did want to be checked out by medical personnel, according to Collins. He added the injuries and the damage to the vehicles were very minor.
