Orlando, FL : Pedestrian hurt in Orange County hit-and-run crash, officials say Thursday November 5 2015
A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital as a trauma alert in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
The crash was reported at Semoran Boulevard and Curry Ford Road just before 2:30 p.m. The crash blocked southbound lanes of Semoran Boulevard at Curry Ford Road, but reopened just after 5:30 p.m.
Orlando police said a box truck struck a pedestrian and fled the scene.Orlando Fire Department said one person was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert, but no other information on their injuries or age were released.
