Pierce Township, OH : One man is dead after a three-vehicle crash on Thursday October 23 2014.

One man is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Pierce Township Thursday morning, highway patrol officials said. The crash occurred on Ohio 125 near Bach Buxton Road about 7:40 a.m., according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Donald Fleckinger, 83, tried to turn into a private drive and was hit by a vehicle, the release states. The collision knocked Fleckinger into another vehicle. Fleckinger, of Amelia, was flown to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. One other driver was taken to the hospital with "minor injuries," the release states.
