Rockledge, FL : Bicyclist dead after crash in Brevard County Thursday afternoon on May 1st 2014

A bicyclist is dead after a crash with a vehicle in Brevard County Thursday afternoon, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.

The crash happened on Fiske Boulevard near Interstate 95 in Brevard County around 1:50 p.m., according to FHP.

The bicyclist died a short time later at Viera Hospital, officials said.
