KERSHAW COUNTY, SC : Kershaw County pedestrian struck killed on Sunday, 9th June 2024

A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Kershaw County on Sunday, according to authorities.

Authorities say 63-year-old Bernadette Marie Tremper of Camden was struck by a vehicle while walking on Highway 1 around 9:16 p.m. on Sunday.

Tremper was walking south toward Camden in the north bound lane of Highway 1 when she was struck, according to Kershaw County Coroner David West. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
