Chester County, SC : Woman killed, child injured in a crash on Calvary Church Road on Wednesday night, November 23, 2016

A woman was killed and a child was injured in a crash in Chester County Wednesday night.

The single-vehicle wreck happened just after 8 p.m. on Calvary Church Road. Troopers said a 39-year-old woman was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of two children in the car was airlifted to a local hospital. The child's age and condition have not been released. Officials said the second child in the vehicle was unharmed.

No names have been released.

Investigators have not said what may have led to the crash.
