Raleigh, N.C : 2 injured in multi-vehicle crash that closed Capital Blvd. on Monday evening, November 28, 2016
A crash involving several vehicles and a tractor-trailer shut down northbound Capital Boulevard for two hours on Monday evening, police say.
The wreck, which happened around 6:20 p.m., injured two people, Raleigh Police said.
Capital Boulevard heading north was closed near Starmount Drive.
What appeared to be a crashed Ford Mustang could be seen under a tractor-trailer and at least two cars were involved, a CBS North Carolina photographer at the scene reported.
The tractor-trailer driver told a CBS North Carolina photographer that when the crash happened, he heard a noise and at first thought his vehicle had blown a tire.
Injuries from the crash were serious, but are believed to be non-life threatening, police said.
The road reopened around 8:30 p.m.
