The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://on-ajc.com/2p4ios6 ) a Cobb County grand jury indicted 44-year-old Casey Taylor on Thursday on a vehicular homicide charge in the death of 21-year-old Kimberly Islas.

Taylor’s arrest warrant says she was driving a on a suspended license Feb. 4 when she ran a red light and hit Islas, who was turning in her car.

The warrant says Taylor was unable to keep her balance after the crash and told responding officers she had taken four prescription pills 45 minutes beforehand. Her license was suspended in 2000 for a DUI charge and she had neither insurance nor registration and was driving with a fake tag.

It’s unclear if Taylor has a lawyer.
