Columbus Grove, OH : Lima woman dies after crash in Putnam County on Monday afternoon, March 13, 2017
A Lima woman is dead after a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon near the Allen-Putnam county line.
At 4:30 p.m., Keona Lashay Madlock, 20, of Lima, was driving a 1997 Buick Century north on state Route 115 when she lost control of her vehicle, traveling off the right side of the road and striking a tree, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Madlock was pronounced dead at the scene by the Putnam County coroner after suffering fatal injuries. Drugs and alcohol were not suspected to be contributing factors and Madlock was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
The crash prompted the closure of the highway to traffic for two hours.
