Volusia County, FL : Two people killed after vehicle strikes tree along I-95 near Daytona Beach on Sunday, August 28, 2016

Two people are dead after a crash on Interstate 95 near Daytona Beach Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said a vehicle was traveling northbound near, near mile marker 265, when it went off the road and struck a tree.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

As of 7:15 p.m., one lane of northbound I-95 was blocked and traffic was moving slow in the area.
