Bonner County, ID : Coeur d’Alene man killed after a car crash on Highway 2 west of Dover on Saturday morning, January 23, 2016

A Coeur d’Alene man died Saturday morning after he lost control of his car on a snowy road in Bonner County.

Tyler S. Bartlett, 22, was driving west on Highway 2 west of Dover when he lost control, the Idaho State Police said. He crossed the center line and hit a car driven by Joel P. Slover, 57, head on.

Bartlett died of his injuries at Kootenai Health. His passenger, 22-year-old Elizabeth Welker, was also taken to Kootenai Health. Slover and his passenger Lorraine Slover, both of Newport, were taken to Bonner General Hospital.
