Spartanburg,SC : Coroner identifies pedestrian struck, killed by SUV on I-85 Business on October, Tuesday 10th 2017

The Spartanburg County coroner said one person has died after being hit by a car on I-85 Business early Tuesday morning.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger said the pedestrian was hit by an SUV near mile marker 6 just after 2 a.m.
Northbound lanes were blocked as troopers investigated the collision. The lanes have since reopened.
The victim was later identified by the coroner as Melissa Gail Nava, 38 of Spartanburg. Her cause of death was listed as multiple head and body trauma secondary to pedestrian and SUV collision. He said the incident is being ruled an accident.
