A bucket of paint fell from a man's pickup truck as he navigated a curve in Brown County Thursday morning.
The paint spilled onto Ohio 41, causing another driver to lose control of his vehicle -- and then his life.
Terry Young, of West Union, slid into the oncoming lane and was struck by a semitrailer around 10:45 a.m., according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Young was pronounced dead at the scene after his pickup truck and the semitrailer crashed down an embankment, the release states.
No other drivers involved in the crash were injured.
Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be a factor in the crash, the release states.
Ohio 41 was closed in Huntington Township for about eight hours while officials investigated.
