Deerfield, IL : Father offers reward in hit-and-run crash on Sunday, 9th February, 2020

Deerfield police continued to look Sunday for the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident Friday night that left a 12-year-old boy hospitalized with serious injuries, according to a Deerfield Police Department release.
Police determined the driver struck the boy, Chase Thompson, with his vehicle near the intersection of Deerfield Road and Beverly Place while driving westbound on Deerfield, according to the release. The driver did not stop and continued going west.
“The police are seeking the assistance of the public in attempting to locate and identify the driver of a vehicle believed to be a dark colored 2013-2016 Ford Escape with a SEL or Titanium trim package,” police said in the release.
The vehicle may have “extensive damage to the passenger side headlight assembly, fender and grill," police said.
