Martinsville, VA : Man killed Saturday in Bedford County crash on April, Saturday 8th 2017

State police are investigating a Bedford County crash that killed a Goode man early Saturday morning.

Andrew E. Kuminski, 23 died at the scene of a crash after his vehicle struck a fallen tree, according to a statement from Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.

Kuminski was driving a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta west on Virginia 704 (Matthew Talbot Road) approaching Virginia 705 when his car struck a tree across the roadway about 3 a.m., Geller stated.

He was not wearing a seat belt.
