Milwaukee, WI : 51-year-old man killed in a single-car accident on Thursday, December 25, 2014

A 51-year-old Milwaukee man was killed in a single-car accident early Thursday.

The man was traveling east on W. Fond du Lack Ave. around 2 a.m. when his vehicle crossed the centerline into the westbound lanes, then went off the roadway and hit a tree, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are awaiting the results of toxicology testing to determine if the man was impaired.
