Portland OR : Motorcycle driver wanted in hit-and-run that left woman with traumatic injuries on Saturday ,July 4th 2015

Portland Police are now looking for the driver of a motorcycle or three-wheel motorcycle wanted for hitting a woman and fleeing the scene.

Marlene Popps, 60, was hit just before 10 p.m. Saturday at Southeast 60th Avenue and Holgate Boulevard, police said.

The moment of impact was captured on video and showed Popps flying through the air and landing in the street. Police now believe she was struck by a motorcycle driver, who did not stop or even appear to slow down. The person who shot the video gave it to police.

Popps remains hospitalized with traumatic injuries.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
