Mathews ,NC ; Two people injured and hospitalized after crash at at Weddington Road on Thursday morning ,April 23 2015

Two people were taken to the hospital after a wreck in Matthews on Thursday morning.

The accident happened just before 10:30 a.m. on McKee Road at Weddington Road.

Medic took two people to Carolinas Medical Center, both seriously injured.

Officials have not said exactly how the accident happened.
