Simpson County, MS : One dead, two injured in wreck on US 49 in Braxton on Monday, August 15, 2016

Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a deadly single car accident on US 49 in Braxton.

47-year-old Vonda Case, of White Oak, Texas, was traveling north on US 49 when her 2014 Hyundai hydroplaned and went off the roadway before overturning.

Case was killed on the scene.

A man and another woman were inside the car and both were transported to UMMC with injuries.

The wreck is currently under investigation.
