Reading, PA : One hurt in Uxbridge crash on Tuesday, June 20, 2017
On Tuesday at about 2:11 PM, Uxbridge Police received a 9-1-1 call for a motor vehicle crash, in which a car collided with a large dump truck. The accident occurred on Douglas Street (Route 16), just east of Cross Road, police said. The vehicle had one occupant, a male driver. A male driver also occupied the truck. The Uxbridge Ambulance transported the operator of the car to UMASS. The operator of the truck was not injured. Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including Uxbridge Police, Fire and EMS. The accident is being investigated by the District Attorney’s Office, the CEMLEC Accident Reconstruction Team as well as the Massachusetts State Police Commercial Truck Enforcement Team, Trooper Steven Bedard.
