Passaic County, NJ : 1 killed in I-80 crash that closed lanes in Passaic County in the westbound lanes near Exit 53 in Wayne on Tuesday, 21st May 2019

One person died Tuesday in an early morning crash on I-80 in Passaic County, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 5:40 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Exit 53 in Wayne, according to Sgt. Jeff Flynn of the New Jersey State Police.

Flynn had no information on the person killed or whether the crash involved more than one vehicle.

The crash resulted in partial lane closures until about 9:30 a.m., Flynn said.
