ORONOCO, MN : Oronoco woman hurt in crash on US 52 on Thursday, December, 7th 2017

An Oronoco woman was injured when two northbound cars collided on U.S. Highway 52 Thursday.

Ashley Pressnall, 27, of Oronoco was driving north on Hwy. 52 just south of the 75th Street exit when her sport utility vehicle was struck from behind by a car at about 6:04 p.m., according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol.

The driver of the car, Angela Bohmbach, 34, of Red Wing, was not injured in the crash. Pressnall was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus with non-life threatening injuries, the state patrol reported. No further update on her condition was available.

Rochester police and the Rochester Fire Department also responded to the scene, the state patrol reported.
