Palm Coast, FL : 47-year-old man died in crash on I-95 in Palm Coast on Wednesday afternoon, March 22, 2017

A 47-year-old man died Wednesday afternoon after he lost control of his truck and hit an SUV on I-95 near Palm Coast, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said David Dalecki was headed south on I-95 and drifted off the right side of the road before overcorrecting, crossing the highway and hitting an SUV that was headed south in the left lane of I-95.

The truck hit the front right of the SUV, which flipped.

Dalecki died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 78-year-old man, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
